Six years ago a fire and explosion ripped through the historic district of downtown Durango, injuring as many as seven firefighters who were on the roof of the building when it exploded. One of the businesses
destroyed in the fire, Seasons Restaurant, hosts a “Burnin’ Down the House” in celebration that no one was killed in the fire and explosion. This year’s event packed the house to raise funds for The Hundred Club of Durango, as well as The Wounded Warrior Project/Operation Homefront. Attendees were treated to a special menu created just for this event.
